Recorded directly from a Hohner Church Organ located in Kit Records HQ, the tracks that make up Late Style are named after the presets found and activated during the recording process. The artists responsible, Devon Loch and Antidrom arranged the recordings together with field recordings and contact mics and in so doing create four completely new pieces. In music and in art, the concept of ‘Late Style’ is often said to represent an unfettered outpouring in later life. Perhaps taking the view that computers and software have lives too, they change over time, they decay, confront mortality and their functions adapt.
