Preceding their album, due out November 2016, is this wondrous 12” armed with two cuts of opposing styles of techno. ‘Love Hertz’ is blissfully warm, melodic and heavenly feeling track, with gently shuffling percussion through and synths that lightly throb, allowing for a welcoming sensation. On the flip, ‘cipher’ rocks at a pacier tempo with heavily reverbed elements and kicks equipped for dancing. It’s got twinkling harmonics atop drum work, so is itself a track of juxtaposition, which really is where its beauty lies.
