Brooklyn based Dylan Scheer drops a full length album for Break World Records, the label which just recently put out Elysia Crampton’s Demon City to critical acclaim. Scheer showcases a variety of styles, drawing influence from IDM and the lo-fi DIY aesthetics of leftfield labels like Irdial. However, the Pauline Oliveros-esque drones of ‘Fevered Proviso’ point to a familiarity with contemporary avant-garde mainstays as well as fellow dance music peers.
