Super limited one track twelve from the unlikely collaboration of Hyperdub associate Fatima, Berlin based artist and writer Steyerl, and New York poet Huxtable. Recorded for Total Freedom as part of the 9th Berlin Contemporary Art Biennale joint initiative with the Vinyl Factory, the artists evoke images of moonlit chamber processions and choral unity through their sonic experimentation. Our best points of reference are something along the lines of Arvo Pärt or Polish group Ksiezyc. The Vinyl Factory continue to impress with their wide ranging scope of projects, and this 12” makes a nice follow up (and enough of a difference!) to the So Low releases that have been orchestrated by JD Twitch
