After leaving Nine Day’s Wonder, a popular kraut band in which he was the bassist, Michael Bundt went on to record three full length solo albums. The machine funk of ‘Just Landed Cosmic Kid’ and ‘Future Street’ are still exciting over three decades later, but for Bureau B it is the last LP Electri City that they’ve chosen to reissue. Bundt’s infectious blends of pop, krautrock, funk and berlin school electronics make for a strangely familiar listen, as if his albums are old favourites that you are revisiting for the first time in a while.
