Building a Beginning, Jamie Lidell's sixth studio album, both draws on the heart of 70s soul and sees Lidell experimenting more with song structure than ever.

He's brought an impressive roster of rock credentials to the album – including The Who bassist Pino Palladino, Jack White drummer Daru Jones, Wilco instrumental-whizz Pat Sansone, Mocky and Beck producer Justin Stanley – whose collective talents deepen and unify the unique blend of soul that Lidell has crafted.
