Bleep

The second full length from the Osaka based producer for the UAE based Bedouin imprint follows the stripped back and drone filled model of its predecessor. Stark and despairing are apt descriptors of Murakami’s latest offering, with elongated drones billowing the soundscape to its spacey, outer limits. The title track opens with a fuzzy hum that gradually becomes more pronounced, while harrowing synths erratically colour the ether in dark shades. ‘Pray’ slinks into first gear and doesn’t really shift out. Sounds collide with each other at a deliberate pace. WARNING! Do not consume in a delicate state.
