One of the biggest names in contemporary techno and a mainstay in the Berlin Bermuda triangle of Hard Wax/Berghain/Panorama Bar, Marcel Dettmann releases his contribution to the acclaimed DJ Kicks series. Taking in tracks from Orlando Voorn, Levon Vincent, The Residents and PWOG he manages to craft a journey (no clichés here) that meanders ever so slightly from the possible staleness of techno mixes and takes in the ethereal, the gothic, the futurist electro sound and more without ever losing direction.
