This amazingly diverse remix package comes six months after the release of Beacon’s acclaimed second album and wowee is it brimming with goodness. From Tomas Barford’s percussion heavy reimagining of ‘IM U’ to the dark, shuffling and endlessly whirling remix of ‘Hollow’ by Time Wharp, there are tracks made for all occasions. Label-mate Logan Takahashi reconfigures ‘Escapements’ into a powerfully atmospheric anthem, fitted with sparkling maracas, rain sticks and hazy vocals. Kim Ann Foxman, Nitemoves, BAILE, TWINKIDS, and Applescal round out the remainder of the EP.
