Drugdealer is the new hypnagogic pop project from Run DMT/Salvia Plath, featuring collaborations with Ariel Pink, Weyes Blood and more. The lead single ‘Suddenly’ calls to mind reference points such as Judee Sill, Bridget St. John and 70’s MPB. Supposedly inspired by spaghetti western films, Baudrillard and social media falsity, it escapes the trap of becoming an obvious concept album and instead flows freely in its own sphere despite wearing its influences on its sleeve. Recorded across studios in L.A, New York, Vancouver, California and Baltimore!
