Released as a celebratory artifact for Solar One Music’s ten year anniversary, Project STS-31-Spiralgaxie collects music from the many guises of Gerald Donald and Robert Witschakowski. Better known respectively as one half of Drexicya/Dopplereffekt and as The Exaltics, both artists have been simultaneously dedicating their lives to electro music, since the 90’s for Donald and over the past five years or so for Witschakowski. What Solar One have presented in this package is a deep sonic journey through the outer-realms of dance music, with hard hitting funk tracks crossing paths with meandering and dystopian ambient cuts such as ‘Stars, Gases, and Dust’.
