Another Canadian venture for Constellation, this time with the Off World debut from long standing associate Sandro Perri. Working collaboratively over the past couple of years on this new project, Perri showcases ‘alien electronics played humanly’ with a whole host of familiar names joining him for the ride. Acoustic elements mix with electronics to present a hyper contemporary take on the fourth world sound, but even then it differs vastly from preceding works in the field. ‘Wonder Farm’ is a stand out, evoking comparisons to Scott Fraser or Mpala Garoo.
