XL Recordings/ Third Man present twenty six tracks from the career of White Stripes frontman Jack White, presented in chronological order. Beginning close to twenty years ago, the collection of demos, album tracks, b-sides and live recordings show a different side to the guitarist and vocalist who is primarily known for the heavy blues rock sleaze of his marital project. Also one of the founding members of The Raconteurs, White has knack for intuitive songwriting both as a solo artist and in collaborative efforts. This collection paints a picture of him at his most primitive moments, his voice accompanied with nothing but his guitar.
