Crazy dubbed out abstractions of traditional Turkish music, with serious repetitive grooves and eery field recordings merging together to fit nicely into the sonic sphere that London based Bokeh Versions have carved for themselves recently. We especially like the almost-disco feel of ‘Tired in Istambul’, coming across as a spectral, dreamlike rendition of some long forgotten snake charming ceremony. This one is weird, but definitely one to get lost in!
