Lead single ‘No More Parties on the Attic’, previously released on a limited 7”, was the only track we’d previously heard from this debut LP by the intriguing four piece Exploded View. Heavily channelling 80s post-punk vibes, it perfectly sets the tone for the wistful atmospheres conjured up throughout the self-titled album, though by no means is it indicative of every single track. Fronted by a former political journalist with a remarkably chilling vocal talent, the group whizz through eleven tracks of electro, funk, industrial and dub influenced pop songs for their first Sacred Bones offering.
