Having released a plethora of drum n bass and late-era dubstep singles (as well as two full length albums) under his Kryptic Minds alias, Simon Shreeve marked a change in direction earlier this year by debuting on the Downwards label with five dark ambient leaning techno cuts. With Lust Product he carves a similar path, various hidden textures and bass heavy rhythms collide together to bridge the gap between Shreeve’s heavily UK influenced back catalogue and the doom-laden noise of 80s German industrial groups.
