The masked duo certainly make club music, but you’re unlikely to hear Serpente Dorado in an actual club; slow-mo kuduro and dubby rhythms are played out on hand percussion and metallic surfaces akin to the kind of thing we’d expect to hear coming from Nyege Nyege Tapes, demanding to be heard in an outdoor venue, preferably around an enormous fire pit.
