Los Angeles based label Alpha Pup have released an array of experimental leaning hip-hop records since the early 2000’s, with the likes of Daddy Kev, Nosaj Thing and Jonwayne all contributing over the years. Despite the connotations Elusive’s moniker might suggest, the producer and Dreamweavers member has actually recorded well over twenty five albums since the late 90s and Headspace marks his second for Alpha Pup this year. Stand outs include the airy and percussion led ‘Light Beams’, the warped g-funk synths of ‘Doomsday Error’, and ‘Eyes Elite’ which features the guest vocals of Flavia.
