The production duo Noo have released one twelve inch each year since 2014 on Glaswegian label Optimo, each one a precise and considered blend of nu-disco, house and techno influences all with a definite aim for the dancefloor. With The First Night of Your Life, the pair present an album made up of 9 sample heavy, tempo shifting excursions. There is a slight Scandinavian feel to these tracks, which comes as no surprise as Sami Liuski (who has previously released as Bangkok Impact and Putsch ’79!) hails from Finland.
