Tokyo based producer Ena makes his debut on Parisian label Latency, whose previous output includes 12”s from contemporary favourites such as Joey Anderson and Madteo. Four tracks of low end heavy, abstract techno that is as much indebted to Photek or 90’s downtempo dub excursions as it is to the lineage of European techno. The brooding and underwater sound of B1 cut ‘Narrow’ will appeal to Drexciya and Muslimgauze fans alike.
