Prins Thomas presents three of his interpretations of The Orb classic, Alpine, here. Each having their own scenario in mind for utilisation. The Discomiks is a techy roller, built on frenetic hi-hats and a groovy, slinking bassline, and strings placed right back in the mix. The ‘Simpler Tools for DJ Fools’ version follows a similar path to its predecessor, though with less bassline and more instruments added in to the arrangement. The ‘Yoga Break Version’ is as hypnotic as it sounds, with all the elements turned down low, making it a real close listen.
