92982 was conceived over thirty years ago by New York based composer William Basinski, yet remained largely unheard until 2009 when he decided to release it via his own 2062 label. Largely recognised as a turning point in his career, 92982 was recorded at a time when the US minimalist movement was in full swing. For the first time ever, the music has been pressed to vinyl courtesy of (also New York based) Temporary Residence.
