Closing out a trilogy of releases with some truly beautiful excursions into drum and bass territory, Djrum is no stranger to this tempo range, having previously released on Samurai Music. However here, on ‘Space Race Pt1 & Pt 2’ he presents some of his most blissful and intricate musical offerings to date. The flip side, ‘Sometimes I share (Space Race Pt 3) contains a rather bizarre female vocal, professing to sometimes shaving her legs amongst other similarly banal grooming exercises. Though it takes nothing away from the music, which is quite simply, sublime.
