Leftfield hip-hop powerhouse Anticon presents a new four track EP from Minneapolis production duo Dosh & Ghostband, a ride that channels elements of ‘krautrock, Detroit techno, improv jazz, idm and boom bap’. Loop driven, percussion heavy long form pieces which incorporate dreamy pads (see the self-appointed Detroit techno comparison from the label themselves) and strong rhythms come together to create a forward thinking dance music experience. Def Kith II is further proof that although Anticon has firm roots in the DIY hip-hop world, the label is constantly looking out for anything adventurous and hard to define.
