Different Circles hit level four with Airhead's skeletal Kazzt, coming backed with a killer (and rare!) remix from label co-owner Mumdance.

Starting with the sound of metallic rainfall, Kazzt hits hard at the thirty-second mark with a Haswell indebted pneumatic drill-like synth, hollowing out the tracks bones to reveal a wormhole structure of anti-gravity teeth scratching bounce, circling around the edge before spiralling off into the distance.

On the flip, Mumdance's remix picks up where the 1 sec instrumental left off with the same mind-bending use of space and structure of found sounds, field recordings and analogue synths. Smashed glass carves up the kickdrums heels, giving nod to Airheads 2010 debut Paper Street before a full frontal gabba assault paves the way to Mumdance's signature boxed snare roll. This is split in the middle passage by a recording of what is literally the sounds of the street.

The kind of music you can imagine playing late night in a downtown bar in William Gibson's sprawl.
