Ambient/’Modern Classical’ heavyweights Max Richter, Hauschka and Sylvain Chauveau join forces with new 130701 signings such as Olivier Alary and Resina to help commemorate the history and development of the label over the past fifteen years. It’s all low drones, melancholy piano compositions and guitar minimalism here but all in the engaging and genuine vein that the Fat Cat sub-label has reveled in since its inception. The three new artists each have a debut album appearing on the imprint soon, and every track on Eleven into Fifteen is exclusive to the compilation!
