When Container dropped his first record on Spectrum Spools back in 2011, the track ‘Application’ caused a bit of a storm in the underground techno world, sounding quite unlike much else (perhaps aside from the odd James T. Cotton release). Fast forward to five years on and the Rhode Island based producer has come out with a steady wave of 12 inches, LP’s, and cassettes all channelling that same messed up noise techno hybrid – a perfect fit for the forward thinking Diagonal label ran by UK cohort Powell. Clocking in as the labels 30th release, Vegetation harbours five EBM and Industrial influenced lo-fi (but club ready) cuts.
