The fifth release on Batu’s increasingly popular Timedance label comes from one of the west country’s finest new producers in Ploy. Having already set his flag in the sand on his release for Hessle Audio, he continues down the same path of combining techno with flecks from various kinds of UK club music. There is a delicacy to all the tracks, and more space for the sounds to breath than on his previous release. Iron Lungs is the banger of the trio, the breakdown being almost unbearably drawn out. Though when those glistening hi-hats come back, its simply pandemonium.
