A new 12” from Swamp 81’s golden boy has been in the offing for what feels like an age, though as you can hear for yourself, its certainly worth the wait. Since his now infamous ‘Beezledub’ came out, Paleman’s profile has been on a spectacular rise, though here on his latest release he’s gone back towards the techno futurism Swamp 81 built its rep on. ‘Yrs Ago’ is all about wobbling percussion and a low lying, effervescent synth that ceases from fizzing over. ‘Animus’ features a similar to his ‘Like O’ track, though the acid tinged synth line and jagged drum patterns give it it’s sense of uniqueness.
