New album from English singer/songwriter and guitarist Jane Weaver, released on her own Bird record label. With over a decade of folk centred works behind her, 2014’s The Silver Globe LP (split-released with Finders Keepers) marked a much more electronic direction for Weaver, something followed up with The Amber Light. There is a slightly pastoral Virginia Astley feel here, yet the softer more traditional sounding tracks are offset by the fast paced ‘I Need A Connection’ and the psych drenched ‘You Are Dissolved’.
