The wizard’s latest offering is as emotive and spacey as we’ve come to expect from him. Iterative, languid melodic lines and well contained drum work are what the release is built on, with the sense of space for each component judged astonishingly well. Aptly titled ‘The Hunted’ transports you to the far reaches of the universe, hidden somewhere behind an ocean of floating cyber junk and whatever else lurks in the deep. The neatly refined acid bassline on ‘Rabid Star Clusters’ irks out just enough to keep the tension at at a steady simmer.
