Jimmy Edgar’s Ultramajic label release the next full-length from long-term Edgar friend and collaborator, Kris Wadsworth. He has previously released electro-fuelled detonators on labels such as : Get Physical Music, Hypercolour, NRK Music and now on Ultramajic brings the raw analogue fire in his best work so far. Apparently the core machine at play here is the metallic edged Oberheim SEM Pro which sparks off chromium synth angles in a rhythm maze constructed by the classic Roland arsenal of 606, 808 and 909. Big tip for all you Elektroids out there, pure Motor City vibes; from driving acid workouts to funky EBM braindancers.
