Proper lovely Motorik styles here on Optimo. Rainer Buchmüller (Sugar Ray Buckmiller) from Karlsruhe, Germany is paying tribute to his favourite electronic oriented music under the wonderfully titled Fred and Luna moniker. Fred Und Luna play a type of self-described "Elektrokraut" (songs that are basically krautrock mixed with electronic elements) and "Krautelektro" (which is electro mixed with krautrock elements). It’s like a fascinating hybrid of La Düsseldorf, NEU!, Kraftwerk, and Harmonia fast-forwarded to a glittering 2020 utopia.
