Rainer Buchmüller (Sugar Ray Buckmiller) from Karlsruhe, Germany is paying tribute to his favourite electronic oriented music under the wonderfully titled Fred and Luna moniker. Fred Und Luna play a type of self-described "Elektrokraut" (songs that are basically krautrock mixed with electronic elements) and "Krautelektro" (which is electro mixed with krautrock elements). It’s like a fascinating hybrid of La Düsseldorf, NEU!, Kraftwerk, and Harmonia fast-forwarded to a glittering 2020 utopia.
