Respected techno newcomer Vester Koza has been chugging away beautifully in the Kassem Mosse/Workshop fashion on his own Maslo label for three years now, culminating in the electric PRISN 12” of 2015. Here he steps up to Fabric’s Houndstooth label to treat us to four tracks of immaculately produced electronica and Black Dog-tooled technoid experimentation. This writers’ pick is the delightfully titled ‘served_on_barm [4/3]’ which dances a dark-dub-techno jig with Autechre, Pole, and Wolfgang Voigt. One to watch, if you weren’t already.
