Norwegian maestro Monsieur Terje and his merry band mates The Olsens come up trumps with their selection of seminal disco numbers to cover. From Vangelis to Boney M. and Yellow Magic Orchestra and long forgotten French prog rock band Martin Circus, the net was cast wide for this one. The playful ‘Firecracker’ is the star selection, with Terje wonderfully combining electronic and acoustic instruments into a damn good time. Prins Thomas’s remix of La Fete Sauvage is a wonky warbler with a piano line right back in the mix. A release full of tracks ready for a dancers to burn a hole in the floor.
