Factory Floor mark a return to the spotlight as a two-piece following long time member Dom Butler's departure to focus on his Bronze Teeth and Green Gums projects. Whilst Dom may be gone, the first new FF material in three years carries all the slick production talent for producing slimline acidic electro they have always maintained. Dial Me In is a prime time squelcher with a growling bassline and catchy hooks and vocals sure to strike a chord with fans of the metal dance/industrial pop sound. The club mix adds a slight delay on the cowbells and a freestylin' twist on the 808 snares, primed for the DJ's. Close and EP highlight Work It Out takes a militant beat with some upwards momentum on the synth textures to great effect. Stripping down the sound to the essentials - turn off the lights hit the strobe and close your eyes while you move, primed to carry ya through till the end with a glazed expressive smile.
