Promising producer Loom migrates from Gobstopper Records to Sound Pellegrino with his Burnt Glass EP. Continuing to refine his unique sound since his excellent European Heartache EP, the title cut sees the producer flip between moments of lush, futuristic melodic patches and spasm-like bursts of blistering percussive fragments, whereas ‘Acid Rain’ keeps the rhythm more consistent through a sprinkling of bubbling lysergic waste. Next up, ‘Hardest In The Year’ keeps your attention piqued with a dizzying display of hyperactive detailing, whilst the B-side sees luminaries Le Dom, Lloyd SB and Doline get their share of the spotline with some heavy-hitting remixes.
