Marcus Intalex a.k.a. Trevino makes a record about Golf. You better believe it, Bleep children. Apparently the very alias, Trevino (which he has been using since 2011 to serve techno bangers), is even named after his favourite golfer Lee Trevino. This thing practically hums Golf. But come back stick and ball phobics! The music itself is a sleek approximation of glossy Kompakt techno, banging Kosmische flecked house and sturdy 4/4 tools. In his own words “So here they are, 9 tracks, aimed squarely at the floor. Nothing too arsey or technical or intellectual, just 8 solid dancefloor cuts plus one short beatless thing to help make them all fit onto the vinyl..” Solid, and not a Par 4 in sight. Whatever that means.
