Ghost Box continue their delightful Other Voices 7” series (a string of sevens from artists not usually known as GB fraternity) with this sweet two-tracker from Lisbon’s Beautify Junkyards who join-the-dots between lilting Portuguese fado, arcane European wyrd folk traditions, and the British Brum scene of Pram, Plone and Broadcast. As is often the case with Jim Jupp’s label, you won’t hear much like this – yesterday, today, tomorrow.
