Russian producer Nocow arrives with a debut EP on Clone spin-off imprint Royal Oak with the Letit EP. After a string of releases on a scattering of under the radar imprints, the four cuts outlaid here back-up the buzz about this promising producer, first off with the title cut which pairs a rough n’ tumble groove to some interesting melodic interplay, followed by the moodier ‘I Don't Really Wanna Lose U’. Turning over, ‘Krugovert’ ups to a racier tempo, once again demonstrating a canny intuition for melodic exchange, whilst ‘Wrong Silence’ kicks much harder, with its tough ghetto-house stomp and rough vocals on a sort of DJ Assault vibe.
