Roots Manuva follows the proper on form Bleeds LP with Switching Sides, a low-fi EP that takes on house, footwork styles as well as hip-hop. Produced by Switch under his new alias With You (and with a little help from Toddla T, Coldcut and Crookers) it shows Roots Manuva is ahead of the game as ever, smashin' out the verses across these absolutely sick beats (flip the wax for the instrumentals in full) Body Hot is the highlight for us, straight up hi hats and a 4x4 with the rhymes perfectly bending around the beats, excellent follow up to Bleeds and pointing towards interesting ways forward.
