Prolific Bleep favourite EDMX checks back into Power Vacuum with another steadfast spread of tenacious hardware driven constructions on the Mind Mechanixx EP. Make no mistake; this is proper working man’s teeth grinding gear, moving from the acid-laced, industrial assault and battery of ‘Half Life (Acid Mix)’ to the brutal, rolling dystopia of ‘Threshold’ and the equally massive, savage stomp on ‘Late Result’. Reigning things in a little, ‘Dastardly’ takes the bite off all those sharp edges with a floaty melodic chord progression, whilst ‘Girder 86’ sports a similar, headier vibe with its catchy hammers n’ spanners percussion.
