Mika Adam Erik Hallbäck Vuorenpää aka Skudge and Kontra-Musik operator Rivet rolls out another alias as Kovsh for the always solid Convex Industries. This is lost music, a collection of tracks unearthed by Mika dating from 1998. As a result we are in a late nineties IDM space: contorted rhythm patterns, junglist abrasions, Plaid-like sound squiggles, Black Dog dystopia. Artwork image, fascinatingly, by Martin Olsson, inspired by Mika's near death motorbike crash in 2010.
