Here onetime member Ellery James Roberts and Ebony Hoorn, aka LUH collaborate on their debut album for Mute. Who’ve always know a thing or three about dark-synth music. One of the most notable things on Spiritual Songs for Lovers to Sing is the production credit to Wakefield master Bobby Krilic aka The Haxan Cloak who adds deep, orchestral, bassy Tri Angle glamour to LUH’s scrawling guitar pop.
