Glasgow's Junto Club return with their second EP for Optimo Music. Warm Me Up consists tracks which shuffle along to slo-Italo-electro voiced by the degenerate voice ghost of Alan Vega (‘Nothing Above’), dreamy-sleazy EBM jams (‘Mister Electric Man’), Robo-Suicide (‘Look Down’) and bittersweet electronic pop Musik- contorted and funky like James Chance stumbling down Sauciehall Street at 4AM. In their own words, ‘If the first was the birth of the Junto Club, this is the middle-aged existential crisis’. Amen.
