Red Hot Chilli Pepper turned synth-adventurer John Frusicante brings us his seventh EP of electronic trips. These tracks were conceived around the same time of his recordings with Speed Dealer Moms, and features a modular synthesizer developed for Frusciante by his bandmate Chris McDonald. Apparently inspired by listening as diverse as Venetian Snares, AFX, Squarepusher, Gescom, DMX Krew, Ceephax Acid Crew, Luke Vibert, and Autechre. like Depeche Mode, Heaven 17s first record, New Order, and early Human League, Foregrow is an exciting voyage into these darkly Acid flecked heartlands.
