Having been rinsed by John Talabot and the Hivern Discs crew, the first three tracks of the Parple project finally see release. Fans of lustrous, natural deep house would be well advised to check this one out. ‘Believe’ has an absolutely stellar vocal, while ‘Sacred’ starts off gradually before piling on layer after layer of cosmic glitch riffs and jittery bass. ‘Ritual’ struts right out of the gate on its Moroder bass line, building to a triumphant hands-in-the-air conclusion.
