Brand new artist Fotomachine debuts on All City imprint Jheri Tracks, this is Black Science. Apparently Fotomachine has been working away as A&R (Ninja Tune’s Technicolour imprint), and this careful debut EP is the realisation of that wide-knowledge. A hooky, lo-fidelity loop masterwork that could slot comfortably into the Trilogy Tapes catalogue. Sleeve artwork, fact fans, features an image of Gil Scott Heron’s dad, Gil, who was the first black football player to play in Scottish football.
