Anthony Naples makes a pleasing return to his own Proibito label (Austin Cesear, Huerco S), and brings along a friend for this sumptuous 12” split. Hank Jackson returns to the label after his 2013 three-tracker Palee Hit and kicks things off here with a freaked out drum tool bathed in metallic modular tones and twitchy squelch. Flipside, Naples processes some Rhodes keys and chopped-vocal sample in a bouncing 4/4 framework. Heavy gear.
